About US

Frontier Safaris’ parent company, Australian Wild Escapes, has been operating 4WD and small group Eco Tours for the past 19 years. Our company is family owned and operated and we offer our on board guests a genuine Australian Experience.

The group sizes are very small. A maximum of 16, but usually this number averages around 10 like minded fellow travellers. Our tours and safaris are a blend of unique and iconic experiences. Travel is by comfortable, air conditioned 4WD bus.

Our guides are highly qualified and knowledgeable. For the Outback Safaris we have Dave, whose driving ability, knowledge and mechanical skills are second to none. Arthur may also take a trip or two. Bob and Steve, also well experienced in guiding will look forward to looking after you for those departing on our brand new itineraries from Sydney.

At the time of booking we will present you with a package that will include a detailed itinerary and a comprehensive list of the things you need to bring for your journey of a lifetime.

All of our safaris are comfortable tented accommodation and our tours are motel/bush pub style accommodation.

We have recently made a few changes to Frontier Safaris that include a brand new range of tours featuring New South Wales, South Australia, West Australia, Victoria and Tasmania. Of course we have retained the very popular safaris that include the Kimberley Mega Safari, the 3 States and the Gulf Country Safaris.

Accommodation

We are offering 2 types of experiences :

Top End Safaris – enjoy the wonders of the bush in our comfortable, modern safari style 2 person tents. These tents come with a permanent floor and are easy to erect with only 4 pegs and a central pole. If anyone needs help we are only to happy to assist. Frontier Safaris provide 7cm (3”) high density foam mattresses that are so comfortable to ensure that you enjoy a great nights sleep.

Our Southern State Tours are accommodated in either motel, lodge or bush hotel styled lodgings all with either private or shared facilities.

Inclusions

All safaris and tours include :

All meals – breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst on tour. Morning and afternoon tea is included on most days.
Accommodation as above
National Park fees and attractions as stated in the itinerary.
Travel aboard comfortable 4WD air conditioned vehicle
We will also provide full details of what you need to bring depending on your tour.
All tours include the use of a fully qualified driver and guide, who have a thorough knowledge of the area.
